I had the privilege of taking part in this initiative from the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO/WHO) as the Product Owner/Project Leader. The application offers content endorsed and validated by PAHO/WHO for neonatal care.
It was designed with a user-centered approach to address the interests of two major profiles of users: healthcare professionals and newborn caregivers.
The next step is to develop a version for maternal care, including family planning and pregnancy. This will provide maternal-infant information throughout the reproductive cycle.
The application is free and can be downloaded both in Android and iOS.
